Hi there, My name is Nina, and from as long as I can remember I have loved dancing. Many of you know me, as my mom Wendy has been teaching for DLDA for almost 30 years! I began dancing at DLDA at 2 years old and continued until I was 20. I began teaching dance as soon as I graduated high school, as I could not give up something I am so passionate about. I am currently working as a Recreation Therapist at Lakeridge Gardens Long-term-care. I have always been a believer in the importance of meaningful activity, as it not only enhances our physical well-being but also our emotional, social and cognitive well being. This is why I continue to teach dance, because it is so much more than a physical activity. It encompasses all domains of health, which is imperative to the developing mind and body. I’m grateful that I get to share my passion with future generations, and look forward to meeting all of you!
